Disney Dreamlight Valley contains several hidden secrets, but few are as intriguing as the multi-colored potato mystery lines. Among these, tracking down the Green Potato demands keen observation across various water bodies and secret locations. Understanding each step ensures you complete this puzzling quest efficiently and claim your valuable magical reward.
Finding the Emerald Bottles Across the Valley
The journey begins by collecting 16 Emerald Bottles submerged in the waters around different biomes. You must use your fishing rod to reel in these emerald containers from spots like Dazzle Beach, the Glade of Trust, and the Sunlit Plateau. Once all 16 bottles are fished out, open them inside your inventory to transform them into Emerald Silver Slivers.
Combining these silver components at any crafting table allows you to assemble the Jade Crystal. This newly crafted crystal serves as the primary key needed to progress deeper into the secret questline. Double-check your storage containers if you seem to be missing any bottles along the way.
Locating the Green Seed and Growing the Green Potato
With the Jade Crystal in hand, travel to the Secret Room inside the Dream Castle where Mickey Mouse's quests take place. Interact with the green orb inside this room to consume the Jade Crystal and receive a Green Seed. This seed is the crucial ingredient required to grow the mysterious Green Potato.
Take the Green Seed to the Sunlit Plateau biome and plant it in the soil near the river bank. Water the crop regularly until it fully matures into a vibrant Green Potato. Harvesting the fully grown potato allows you to proceed to the final alchemy step.
Brewing the Crystalline Green Potion
To finish the process, gather a empty vial alongside your freshly harvested Green Potato and the Jade Crystal. Head over to any standard Crafting Station and navigate to the Functional Items menu tab. Select the recipe for the Crystalline Green Potion to combine these ingredients together.
This potion acts as one of several colored elixirs required to unlock the ultimate valley prize. Combining all colored potions eventually rewards players with the unique Rainbow Fox companion to accompany them on future adventures.
